Privacy

This policy explains what personal information zawqi collects, why, who we share it with, and your rights. Zawqi is operated by Fawwaz Alharbi, an independent builder ("we," "us"). Questions? Email hello@zawqi.app.

What we collect and why

Account information. Your email address, to create your account and sign you in with a one-time code. We never ask for or store a password. If you choose, you may also add a display name and avatar.

Session information. A single essential cookie keeps you signed in across page loads. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Purchase and access records. When you buy a plan, our payment provider shares your subscription state with us so we can enable access. We store agent token metadata so you can manage and revoke credentials. Plaintext tokens are not retained after creation.

Product analytics. We use PostHog to understand how zawqi is used, identify bugs, and improve the product. We capture events like sign-ins and checkout initiation. PostHog runs through our own domain, not a third-party script.

Support communications. When you email us for support, a refund, or a content correction, we receive and store your message to handle your request.

We do not run advertising trackers, and we never sell your personal information.

Our providers

We rely on a small number of providers to operate zawqi. Each receives only the information it needs to perform its function.

• Cloudflare hosts our infrastructure and stores data.
• Polar is our Merchant of Record. When you make a purchase, Polar processes the payment and shares your subscription status with us. Your payment card details go to Polar, not to us. Polar's handling of your data is governed by Polar's privacy policy.
• PostHog provides product analytics. Analytics data flows through our own domain. See PostHog's privacy policy.

How we build Site records

We capture and analyze publicly available websites using automated tools. We store rendered pages, screenshots, extracted images, markdown, classifications, and derived search documents. This process handles public webpage content, not private user data.

International processing

Our infrastructure runs on Cloudflare's global network. Your data may be processed in data centers outside your country of residence.

Retention and deletion

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. When you ask us to delete your account, we remove your personal data within a reasonable timeframe. Anonymized analytics events may persist in PostHog.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your personal data, or have your account and data deleted, at any time. Email hello@zawqi.app and we will take care of it. You may also have additional rights under your local data protection law.

Changes

We will update this page if our practices change and revise the date above. Continuing to use zawqi after a change means you accept the updated policy.
